View folders and content

This section explains how to navigate through Panviva's folder structure to locate and access different types of content. You'll learn how to open folders, identify various document types using their icons, and understand how content is organized within the system.

Accessing Folders

To access the folders:

  • Click folder icon folder icon to display the folder structure.

The following icons display in the folder structure:

The Favorites Documents accessed from a user's Favorites list. folder (only displays for customers not using the single folder view).
  • Provides quick access to frequently used folders and documents.

Folder
  • Panviva organizes content in a hierarchical folder structure. Access content by expanding folders and subfolders, then clicking on document names.

  • Content may appear as native Panviva documents or imported files in their original formats.

  • Your access to specific content depends on your job role, location, and preferred language. Your username determines which folders and documents are visible to you.

 

     

Collapsed/Expanded Folder (only displays for customers who have not enabled single folder view).

  

One-third screen document

  • Typically a procedure document; also used for Quick Links index documents.

  • The document has tabs at the top an displays in a 1/3 window size.

  

Two-thirds screen document

  • Typically an overview or policy document, but also used for contact lists, benefit information and more.

  • The document has tabs along the left side and displays in a 2/3 size window.

  • it is also called a 'left tab' document

  • Typically used for visual process flow diagrams, but also used for charts of information.

  

Imported document
  • This indicates the document is an external format such as Word, PDF, Excel, etc.

  • Click the imported document to open it in its native format.

Training/ Online learning

The training/Online learning folder contains learning materials assigned specifically to you. This folder appears only when you have been assigned training content.

In Folder Tree Documents accessed from the Folder view in Viewer. View:

The training folder name can be customized (often labeled "My training" or "My reading"). It always appears at the bottom of your folder list.

For single folder view, the training folder will not be available under folders. To access training materials, select Online Learning Documents accessed via the My Training folder in Viewer. Note that the online learning folder in the Folder view could be named differently if your administrator assigned a different name to the folder. training icon icon in the homepage.
