Find documents & folders in Panviva
Users in the Authors role can search for folders, documents or content elements within Panviva based on various search criteria such as name, description, ID, content, and custom properties. The following steps outline how to perform a search:

Select the Manager An administrative role responsible for managing workflows, feedback, and document assignments. icon.
The Document Management window displays.

Optional: Under Find, select the preferred search option from the following:
Find Option
Description
Name

Find documents by their file name.

Useful when you remember the document's title.
Description

Locate documents by description.
ID
-
Find documents by their document ID.

Perfect when you know the exact document ID
Text
-
Find documents containing specific text.
Keywords
-
Search using predefined document keywords.

Useful for categorized documents.
CSH keywords
-
Search using CSH keywords.
Any text
-
Search across multiple fields.

Search for Name, Description, ID, Text, and Keywords simultaneously. (where appropriate)
Image
-
Find documents containing specific images.
Custom properties

Find documents with specific custom properties.
Note: Only available if custom properties are configured

Blank text field: Based on the selected option, either:

Enter the search term or

Click Browse for image search.

Select the check boxes as appropriate:

Manager lists folders/documents that match the search criteria.
View location of search result
You can view the location of a document or folder by selecting it from the search result and clicking
in the results table.
