Manage Feedback settings
Manager An administrative role responsible for managing workflows, feedback, and document assignments. users in the administrators role can access the Feedback and document ratings settings for the Panviva database.
Note: You must have advanced permissions to access the Admin menu and update Feedback settings.
Manage Feedback settings

Open Panviva Manager.
The Document Management window displays.

Click Admin.
The Administration window displays.

Locate the Feedback section in the list of options, and expand, if necessary.

Edit the properties as needed:

Enable/disable feedback: Enables the feedback feature.
Caution: Enabling or disabling the Feedback feature turns the feature on or off for your entire database. It cannot be configured to be on or off for specific roles within your database.

Manage custom fields: Add, configure, or remove a custom field.
Note: After making changes, remember to log off and then log back in for the changes to take effect.

The following options available for feedback. Select or clear the checkbox to enable or disable the option.

Hide feedback from other users in Viewer A user role with read-only access to Panviva documents who can also submit feedback.

Email notification to Document Owner
Note: Select this if you want email to go to the Document Owner and NOT to a central email address. A document owner is assigned via the Document Management > Details & Actions > Permissions Determines what content a user is allowed to access. or Mass actions > Mass permissions.

Enable notifications to an email address
Note: Select this if you have a central email address to which all emails will go. This affects the entire database. If you want feedback emails to go to different people for different content, use the 'Email notifications to Document Owner' option.
Manage custom fields
To add a custom field:
- Click Add to display the Custom fields dialog box.

Configure the custom field options:

Name: Type the custom field name.

Description: (Optional) Type a custom field description.

Type: Select one of the following:

This field is required:

If the option is selected, users must make a selection from the field options when submitting feedback. If they do not, the 'Submit' button won't display and they cannot submit their feedback.

If the option is Off, users can submit feedback without making a selection in this field.

- Click Save to add the custom field to the Feedback in the desktop.
To Remove a custom field:

Select the Custom field.

Click Remove. The custom field is highlighted by a strikethrough and red Removed label.

Click Save to remove the custom field.
To Edit a custom property:

Select the Custom field.

Edit the fields as needed.
