Image Management

When Manager An administrative role responsible for managing workflows, feedback, and document assignments. first opens, it displays the Document Management window.

Image Management is accessed by clicking Images, located at the top of the Manager window.

The Image Management window contains three panes:

  • The left side is the Folders pane, where image folders are listed;

  • The middle Images pane displays images within a selected folder; and

  • The right side is the Properties pane, where folder and image properties are displayed and managed. (E.g., uploaded, copied, etc.)

Folder pane

The Folder pane displays image folders. When you select a folder from this pane, the images it contains display in the Images pane.

Find

Find allows users to search for an image by name or ID number.

Images

The Images folder contains sub-folders which store the images. Folders can be created, deleted and moved within the pane.

Imported

The Imported folder contains images which have been imported from a Panviva file that originated in another database. When importing Panviva XML files, all images associated to the XML file are imported into this folder.

If you upload a template kit from Panviva University, the images contained in the templates will by default upload into this folder.

You can then move the images from this folder into any other folder.

Most used

The Most used folder displays the 25 most frequently used images.

Note: The folder automatically updates with the 25 most used images across all documents in the database.

This folder and the images it contains cannot be deleted or changed.

Orphans

The Orphans folder contains removed images and removed folders. These can be retrieved at any time.

The Images pane displays the images contained in a selected image folder.

Multiple images can be selected for actions available in the Properties pane.

Properties pane

The Properties pane provides a way to manage images as well as see the image details.
