Users & Roles

Panviva Users and Roles are created and managed by a user in the rolecreators role. The rolecreator controls who can:

Users and Roles view

When Manager first opens, it displays at the Document Management window. The User and Role Management windows are accessed via the top toolbar.

  • Click Users to access the User Management window

  • Click Roles to access the Role Management window

User management

The User Management window displays the system users and lists basic information for each.

Note: Use Find field above the user list to search for a specific user by Username, First/last name and email.

Role management

A role applies to a specific group of Panviva users. Users are assigned to roles to provide them with access to:

  • Manager system functions, such as the ability to manage roles.

  • Permissions for content in Viewer.

There are two types of roles - System roles and Custom roles.
