View Assigned Feedback

My assigned feedback displays feedback assigned to a Viewer Viewers are users with Read-only access to documents. They can access documents and submit feedback to editors user who is chosen as a collaborator for a feedback. The collaborator/ Viewer user can share their view through private comments and collaborate with authors to resolve the feedback issue within Panviva.

My assigned feedback is accessed via the More More menu > User menu.

This list displays feedback assigned an Author in a chronological order (by date). The private comments will be highlighted in yellow in the feedback list.

Note: My Assigned Feedback option will be visible to all the users even if they are not assigned the collaborator role.

Collaborate on assigned feedback

To collaborate on an assigned feedback,

  1. Click More More menu.

  2. Select User > My feedback.

    A list of your assigned feedback items display in a chronological order (by date).

    Note: Private comments will be highlighted in a light-yellow background.

    Note: Assigned feedback (in the list) will be greyed out if the viewer user doesn’t have Read access to the document for which the feedback has been submitted.

  3. Select a feedback from the list of assigned feedback and select Open.

  4. Under Comments, provide a comment.

    Note: The Submit private comment option will be enabled by default and greyed out.

Feedback notifications

The following table highlights the notifications received and its recipients:

Note: Users will not be notified when they assign feedback to themselves by selecting Assigned to Self in the Assignee field. Furthermore, the document owner will not receive this notification unless they follow the feedback.
