Apply workflow
Manager An Admin user who can manage and assign feedback, workflows, document, images etc. users in the Workflow Documents accessed from a review or approve list in the Folder view. managers role can apply a Workflow to:

A single document

An empty folder
When the Workflow Management window is displayed click Documents.
The Document Management window displays.
Apply a workflow to a document

Select the required document.

Select Details & Actions > Workflow > Manual workflow settings.
The Manual workflow settings window displays.

Click Select workflow.
The Workflow selector window displays.

Select a workflow.
-
Click Add workflow.

Click Save. |
The selected workflow is applied to the document.
Apply a workflow to a folder

Select the required document folder.

Select Details & Actions > Workflow > Manual workflow settings.
The Manual workflow settings window displays.

Click Select workflow.
The Workflow selector window displays.

Select a workflow.
-
Click Add workflow.

Click Save.
The selected workflow is applied to the folder and documents created in the folder have the workflow applied.
Note: Important! The workflow is not started until the author selects 'Save for review' or 'Save for approve'.
Apply a workflow to a folder and the contents

Select the required document folder.

Select Details & Actions > Mass actions > Mass manual workflow.
The Mass manual workflow window displays.

Click Select workflow.
The Workflow selector window displays.

Select a workflow.

Click Add workflow.

Click Save.
The selected workflow is applied to the folder and the documents within it. Documents created in the folder also will have the workflow applied.
Note: Important! The workflow is not started until the author selects 'Save for review' or 'Save for approve'.
Workflows and external documents
Workflows do not work on external documents (such as imported Word, Excel, etc.).
If you accidentally apply a workflow to an external document:

Select the document in Manager.

Select Details & Actions > Workflow > Manual workflow settings.

Click Remove workflow.

Click Save.
