About After Hours and Routing Rules

You can create inbound or outbound routing rules specifying how the Upland AccuRouteServer should handle messages when it is after hours in your company. For example, when it is after hours in your company, you may want to consider routing inbound faxes to network printers so that people can retrieve them when they arrive.

While the After Hour feature is versatile and can be configured in various ways, it is most commonly used in conjunction with the FaxCenter. If your company uses FaxCenter, people in your company rely on FaxCenter users to route inbound faxes in a timely manner. After Hours prevents you from missing important faxes when FaxCenter users are not in the office.  

Note: After Hour feature is cluster aware. However, if you upgrade your AccuRoute Server, the after hour flag setting is lost as a result of its location being moved during the upgrade.
