About Approval and Review Manager Components

Approval and Review components allow message senders to have someone else review their outbound messages. You can only enable one of these components at a time.  If you enable Approval Manager and then try to enable Review Manager, you will get a message telling you that Approval Manager is currently enabled and that you must disable it before you can enable Review Manager.  

Approval and Review Manager component requirements

You must configure the following before using the Approval and Review Manager components.

  • Upland AccuRoute servers with fax capability
  • Upland AccuRoute Web Client
  • Registered approval managers who are assigned to registered users. You must register the approval managers first and them configure user approval and review properties.

Accessing Approval or Review Manager component

To access the Approval Manager or Review Manager component

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
    On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Select Components. The details pane lists the components in your environment.

  4. Click Approval Manager / Review Manager to open the Properties dialog box.
