About Custom Options
Custom Options are customized properties created by the
The Administrator can, for example, configure image cleanup properties for the server thereby reducing white noise when scanning documents. Some examples of Custom Options are image enhancement, set message priority to high, and set message priority to low.
Note: Custom Options must first be added as a Property Dictionary Item in the Properties Node. See also Creating a message property.
Configuring Custom Options
The following procedure shows how to configure Custom Options for ImageCleanup.
To configure Custom Option for ImageCleanup

Start the Server Administrator.

Expand the Configurations node, and select the Custom Options node.

Right click Custom Options and select New> Custom Option. The New Custom Option page opens.

In the ID text box, enter the ID of the property that will be mapped, for example prImageEnhancements.

In the Description text box, enter a brief description of the property.

Click New to open the Define Property Setting page.

From the Property drop-down, select the predefined property (in this example prImageEnhancements).

In the Value text box, enter -1.

Click OK to close the Define Property Setting page.

Click OK in the New Custom Option page to create the Custom Option.
This is listed in the Custom Options details pane. When this custom property is specified by the user, the final document will have gone through an image cleanup process.
