About Group Prompts
The Message Server Administrator provides the ability to organize prompts individually or in groups and display them on the device accordingly.

Individually – each prompt on its own page
-
Grouped – two or more prompts on their own page. Up to 26 groups may be created, labeled A-Z
Displaying prompts individually
Prompts can be configured as Individual pages in the Device group properties of the Server Administrator. These prompts will be displayed on individual pages on the device.
To configure Prompts as Individual pages in the Device group properties:

Launch Server Administrator and navigate to properties of the device group.

Navigate to Buttons tab.

Double-click on any button to view the Button properties.

Navigate to Prompts tab.

Click Add.

Choose Property.
-
Select Workflow-Individual pages in Display on Page option.

Click OK to save the button changes.

Click OK to save device group configuration.
Prompts displayed on the device
On the Device, select the configured
button. The user will now see the Prompt in individual page.
Test by scanning documents from the device
Prompt value provided will be carried
along with the message and delivered to the destination.
Displaying prompts as a group
Prompts can be configured to be displayed as a group in Device group properties of Server Administrator. These prompts will be displayed to the users in a single screen stacked vertically one below the other on the device.
To configure Prompts as Grouped in Device group properties:

Launch Server Administrator and navigate to properties of the device group.

Navigate to the Buttons tab.

Double-click on any button to view the Button properties.

Navigate to Prompts tab.

Click Add.
-
Choose Property.
-
Select the appropriate grouping in Display on Page option.

Repeat the action to add more Property to the same grouping.

Click OK to save the feature button changes.

Click OK to save device group configuration.
Prompts are displayed on the device
On the device, select the configured button. The user will now see the
prompts in a single screen vertically
one below the other.
Test by scanning documents from the
device
Prompt values provided for all the prompts will be carried along
with the message and delivered to the destination.
Note: If multiple groups have been configured each group will be displayed on a separate page successively (from A to Z).
Specifying the order prompts are displayed
on the device
The order the prompts are displayed
on the device is configured by using the ^/v buttons on the device group
button’s prompt tab.
Note: Prompts may only be ordered inside of their respective type (Individual,
Group, More Options or Ready To Scan). Individual Prompts are always displayed before Group Prompts on the device.
