About Recipient Registration Pending Component

This component ensures that when someone sends a fax message with secure delivery, the Upland AccuRoute server holds the fax (in Recipient Registration Pending) until the message recipient registers with the server as a secure destination.

When the recipient completes the registration process, the server releases the outbound fax for delivery automatically.

Tip: You can release outbound faxes from the Recipient Registration Pending component manually.

You can have only one instance of this component. You cannot modify its settings.

Accessing the Recipient Registration Pending component

To access the Recipient Registration Pending component

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
    On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Double-click Components. The Components are listed in the details pane.

  4. Click Recipient Registration Pending component to open the Properties dialog box.

Use the following procedure to view pending messages in Recipient Registration Pending. These messages were sent with secure delivery and are waiting for the recipient to register with the Upland AccuRoute server as a secure destination.

Each pending message has the following information.

  • Date Submitted - Date and time when the outbound fax was submitted to the server for processing and delivery.

  • Originator - Sender of the outbound fax.

  • Destination - Address of the recipient.

To view pending messages

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
    On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Double-click Components. The Components are listed in the details pane.

  4. Click Recipient Registration Pending component to open the Properties dialog box.

  5. Click Pending Messages to view all  messages that are waiting for their respective recipients to register as a secure destinations.

  6. When you have finished viewing click OK or Cancel to close the Properties dialog box.

 

The Upland AccuRoute server automatically detects recipient registrations and releases the corresponding outbound faxes. However, in some cases when the registration might have been distorted, the server cannot recognize the registration and you might have to release an outbound fax manually.

Note: Important! You should only perform this procedure if you know that the recipient's address is a secure destination.

To release a fax from Recipient Registration Pending

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
    On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Double-click Components. The Components are listed in the details pane.

  4. Click Recipient Registration Pending component to open the Properties dialog box.

  5. Click Pending Messages to view all  messages that are waiting for their respective recipients to register as a secure destinations.

  6. Select the message you want to release and click Release.

  7. Click OK to close the Properties dialog box.
