About T.37 Fax Connector

The Upland AccuRouteHP Capture and Route T.37 Fax connector uses Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) to generate fax messages conforming to the T.37 protocol. It allows you to send outbound fax messages as an email to another fax server or fax service provider that accepts T.37 SMTP messages.

You can have up to four instances of this connector.

  • Access to an SMTP server

Adding the T.37 Fax connector

To add the T.37 connector

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
  2. On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  3. Right-click Connectors and select New Upland AccuRoute Connector > T37 Fax to open the License dialog box.
  4. In the License box, type the license number.
  5. Click Next.
  6. On the Server Address dialog box, verify that the Run on the Upland AccuRoute Message Server option is selected.
  7. Click Next to open the Display Name dialog box.
  8. In the Name box, type a descriptive name if needed. The default is T37 FAX on the Server.
  9. Click Next to open the T37 FAX Configuration wizard.
  10. In the Domain name box, type the domain where the email is to be delivered. The format for the domain is: @faxdomain.com or user@faxdomain.com
  11. Click Next.
  12. Click Finish.

Accessing the T.37 Fax connector

To access the T.37 Fax connector

  1. Start the Server Administrator.

    On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Select Connectors.
    The details pane lists the connectors that are licensed with your server.

  4. Double-click the T37 Fax on the Server connector to view its properties.
