Managing Fax Properties
By modifying the properties of the Telco connector, you can configure options for fax channels.
Modem properties
Options for modem properties include:

Detecting channels on a fax board

Using custom dialing rules
-
Modifying the top line, or header, of outbound faxes
Channels
Options for channels include:

Selecting the run mode for a channel as normal, send only, or receive only

Specifying the CSI/TSI value for a channel

Configuring a channels' receive properties to capture DTMF digits, use DNIS, use a DID lookup mask, and accept partially received faxes

Setting the number of seconds for timeout, number of busy retry attempts, interval between busy retry attempts, and the number of minutes the channel should wait for a dial tone.

Using a dialing rule and specifying the characters that the channel allows in dialing strings.

Configuring the channel to resend partial faxes

Configure the channel not to send faxes to a fax number that is being dialed by another channel
Tip: Using the modem status feature, you can check the status of all channels associated with the Telco connector.

- Change the connector name
- Enable or disable the connector
- Modify the connector profile
- Modify the path to the Telco share directory
