Macro Security Issue

When you install the Client application for a document management system or document repository on the Upland AccuRoute server, the setup might include Microsoft Office macros. After these macros have been installed, they can prevent the user from generating Routing Sheets using the Upland AccuRouteDesktop Client. When this happens, you will see system events indicating Word automation errors on the server, and the user will see an error on the desktop indicating that the Routing Sheet generation failed. This issue occurs when macro security levels are set to High or Very High during the setup of the document management system or document repository.

To resolve this issue, do one of the following:

• Open Microsoft Word on the server and set the macro security level to Low or Medium.

• Do not install Office macros when you install the Client application for the document management system or document repository.

• Remove the Office macros associated with the Client application for the document management system or document repository.
