Mapping Prompt Values Guidelines

The Mapped Property page can map a prompt value to a message recipient property in four different ways.

  • The value entered in Property is an actual message recipient property (examples are prEmail, prDestination, prName).

  • The value entered in Property is a template variable used to display on a coverpage (examples are SENDER_EMAIL, RECIPIENT_DESTINATION).

  • The value entered in Property is an actual DMS property and the DMS property check box is checked (examples are prDMSDocDescription, prDMSDocName ).

  • The value entered in Property is a DMS custom field and the DMS property check box is not checked (examples are DOC_NAME, AUTHOR, CUSTOM1).
