Resending Messages

If a message was not delivered to the intended recipient, you can resend the message from the History folder. When you resend a message, it remains in the History folder. The server does not create another copy of the message.

Note: The original message and the resent message share the same job ID.

To resend a message from the History folder

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
    On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. In the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Expand the Messagesnode. Click History. The History folder lists the messages the server has processed.

  4. Search for the message you want to resend. You can do the following:

    • If you know the barometer where the message resides, select it. All messages that are being processed by that barometer are listed.

    • To filter the number of messages listed, select an option from the View drop-down list.

  5. Right-click the message.

  6. Select Resend from the short-cut menu. The Resend Job dialog box appears.
  7. Select Change Destination Information to change the destination, send after time, or message priority.

  8. Specify the appropriate values.
  9. Click OK.
