Description/Action

Route to Connector

Select the connector where you want the server to route messages that match this rule.

Document Delivery Format

Select the format in which the server should deliver messages to this connector.

  • Deliver Original Format to deliver the original document format

  • DOC (OCR text) is a Microsoft Word Document

  • PDF (image) is a PDF document that will not be text-searchable

  • PDF (image+OCR text) is a PDF document that will be text-searchable. The server processes these messages using OCR technology.

  • RTF (OCR text) is a Rich Text Format document

  • TIFF (image) is an image file in TIF file format

  • TXT (OCR text) is a searchable text file

Include Template

Select if you want the message to include the cover page template, if one was included with the message. This option applies to outbound messages only.

Include Attachments

Select if you want the message to include attachments. For an outbound message, this applies to all attachments that comprise the body of the message itself. For an inbound message, this applies to the body of the message itself, which exists as an attachment to the message while it is being processed on the server.

Allow sender to override the Delivery Format

Select if you want to allow users to override the delivery format selected for this rule.

Merge Attachments

Select if you want the server to merge multiple attachments if a message matches this rule. ("Attachments" describes all files included in the body of the final document or fax.)

This option does not apply to inbound or outbound messages routed to the Telco connector.

This option applies to the Notes, Exchange, and SMTP connectors only when the final form is set to TIFF or PDF.

Split attachments into pages

Select if you want to split multi-page attachments into single pages. For example, instead of delivering a five page single PDF or TIF file, each page is attached as a separate PDF, and the message includes five attachments.

Destination

Select if you want to specify a system destination for messages that match this rule.

For example, if this rule routes messages to the Printer connector, you can select the Destination option and specify the IP address of the system where the printer is located. When you specify the IP address of the system where the printer is located, the Printer connector can deliver the message to the printer so that it will be added to the print queue and eventually printed.

Template

Select if you want to include a particular cover page template with messages that match this rule, and then specify the name of the template in the text box.

All templates associated with the Server must be stored in: \\.... Server\languages\ENU\Templates

Priority

Select if you want to assign priority to all messages matching this rule and then select the priority from the drop down list.

Send After

Select if you want the sever to route messages matching this rule to the connector you specified only after a particular time each day, and then specify the time in the text box.
