About Cleanup

The Maintenance component removes messages from the Upland AccuRoute server database in regular intervals—this interval can be configured between 3 and 180 days. Optionally, you can configure the Maintenance component to remove billing records. By purging messages and billing records you no longer need, cleanup also prevents the server database from continually increasing in size.

While you can configure the removal of messages and billing records separately, these tasks are collectively called "cleanup". Cleanup runs as a scheduled task on the Windows system where the server database is located, and can be scheduled using the Server Administrator or Scheduled Tasks. You can also run cleanup manually. When cleanup runs, items are marked for deletion and deleted at 5am the following day.

Note: Important! You must run cleanup using the Server Administrator. You cannot run cleanup from a Remote Administrator.
