About ExchangeX Connector LDAP Security
Administrators can set up the ExchangeX connector to lookup email account information via the LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server. Ports can be updated to allow for secure communications. SSL (Secured Socket Layer) can be enabled for encrypted communications between the ExchangeX connector and the LDAP server.
Before you begin
Administrators must complete the following tasks.

Add an ExchangeX connector.

Change port.

Enable SSL.
Adding an ExchangeX Connector with LDAP security

Start the Server Administrator.

Right-click Connectors. The Connectors shortcut menu appears.

Select New AccuRoute connector.

Select ExchangeX on the drop-down list. The Create New ExchangeX Connector wizard appears.

Use the default server address or select Remote Server and specify the address in the box.

Select Next.

Use the default name setting or type a different name in the Name box.

Select Next.

Specify the folder for the input messages in the Forms: Project box.

Use the default host name setting or specify another host name in the Host Name box.

Use the default search base setting or specify another search base in the Search Base box.

Continue with Changing the port.

Changing the port

Use the default port setting or select a different port from the drop-down list.

Continue with Enabling SSL.
Enabling SSL

Select the Use SSL check box.

Select Next. The Lookup Authentication dialog box appears.

Type the login credentials associated with the lookup user account in the Username and Password boxes.

Select Next. The Congratulations dialog box appears.

Select Finish.
