About Fax Sr. Connector Workflow
The Fax Sr. and Fax Sr. LCR connectors transfer two types of data back and forth. One type of data is fax data, which is the faxes that have been submitted to the server for transmission. The second type is status data, which is the status information about each fax that is sent.
Both the processes are described below. The first is the transmission of a fax from Fax Sr. to the AccuRoute Server, and the second is from AccuRoute Fax to Fax Sr.
Sending a fax from Fax Sr. through AccuRoute Fax
-
A Fax Sr. user creates a fax using a Fax Sr. client and submits it to the Fax Sr. server.
-
The destination fax number on the fax matches an LCR rule and Fax Sr. routes the fax to the AccuRoute Server as specified in the rule.
-
The Fax Sr. connector on the AccuRoute Server receives the fax and submits it for processing on the server.
-
When the message is ready to be sent, the AccuRoute Server routes the fax according to the routing rules established in the Dispatch component. For example, the fax could be sent over the fax boards by the Telco connector.
-
After processing the fax, the Fax Sr. connector sends the status of the fax to the Fax Sr. server via LCR.
