About Litigation Support Connector

The Litigation Support connector works with Litigation Support System software such as Ringtail to facilitate importing documents to the Litigation Support System application.

In the AccuRoute Desktop client application, a user can profile a document by specifying a Litigation Support System application as the destination. The LSS connector picks up the document and sends it to the AccuRoute Server. The server processes the document and creates the metadata required for document pick up. The server then delivers the document to the specified destination folder from where it is picked up the Litigation Support System application.

The Litigation Support connector has the following requirements.

The following Litigation Support System applications are supported by the Litigation Support connector.

  • Ringtail

  • Concordance

Adding a Litigation Support Connector

You can add a Litigation Support connector by using the Server Administrator > Connectors node.

To add a Litigation Support connector

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
    On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Right-click Connectors. Select New AccuRoute Server connector > Litigation Support Connector. The License dialog box appears.

  4. Enter a valid license number and click Next. The Server Address dialog box appears.

  5. Click Next. Alternately, if you want the connector to run on a remote server, click Remote Server and enter the server name. Click Next.

    The system verifies that the product is installed and shows the Display Name dialog box.

  6. In the Name text box, enter an appropriate name.

  7. Click Next. The Litigation Support System dialog box appears.

  8. In the Choose the Litigation Support System Type section, select Ringtail or Concordance.

  9. Click Next. The Congratulations dialog box appears.

  10. Click Finish. The Litigation Support connector is listed in the details pane.

Accessing Litigation Support connectors

To access Litigation Support connectors

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
    On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Select Connectors. The details pane lists the connectors that are licensed with your server.

  4. Double-click the Litigation Support connector to view its properties.
