Adding a SMTP Connector

Before you add the connector, review the Windows SMTP documentation. In most cases the default settings are sufficient to support SMTP connectivity with the Upland AccuRoute server. You must also configure a virtual SMTP server.

  1. Start the Server Administrator.
On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

  3. Right-click Connectors. Select New Upland AccuRoute connector > SMTP . The License dialog box appears.

  4. Type the license number.

  5. Click OK. The Server Address dialog box appears.

  6. Click Next. The Display Name dialog box appears.

Alternately, if you want the connector to run on a remote server, click Remote Server and type the server name. Click Next.

  7. In the Name box, type an appropriate name.

  8. Click Next. The Congratulations dialog box appears.

  9. Click Finish. The SMTP Connector is listed in the details pane.
