About Recipient Registration Manager Component
The Recipient Registration Manager component examines each fax and determines whether the sender requested secure delivery. You can have only one instance of this component. You cannot modify its settings.
Secure delivery requested
If the sender requested secure delivery, the Recipient Registration Manager component determines whether the recipient has already registered with the server as a secure destination.
-
Recipient registered - If the recipient has already registered as a secure destination, the server continues processing the fax for delivery.
-
Recipient not registered - If the recipient has not registered with the server as a secure destination, the Recipient Registration Manager component generates a notification message and sends it to the recipient. The notification message indicates that the recipient needs to register with the server and contains registration instructions. The Recipient Registration Manager component sends the fax to the Recipient Registration Pending component, which holds the fax until the recipient completes the registration process or until the fax expires.
Secure delivery not requested
If the sender did not request secure delivery, the server continues processing the fax for delivery.
