Creating a T.37 Fax Connector Outbound Routing Rule

Before you can route a document using the T.37 Fax connector, you must create the following outbound routing rule.

To create a T.37 Fax connector outbound routing rule

1. Start the Server Administrator.

2. Expand Rules.
3. Right-click Outbound > New > Rule to open the Create New Rule wizard.
4. Click Add to open the Add Rule Criteria dialog box.
5. Select Destination is a Fax Number and click Next.
6. On the Items to Match dialog box, verify that the is option is selected.
7. Type * in the box below and click Add.
8. Click Finish, and then click Next. The Specify the Actions to take for this Rule dialog box appears.
9. Click Add to open the Add Rule Action dialog box.
10. Select Route to Connector and click Next. The Route to Connector dialog box appears.
11. From the Route to Connector drop-down list, select T.37 Fax on the Server.
12. Verify that the TIFF (IMAGE) output format is selected for Document Delivery Format.
13. Click Finish, and then click Next.
14. Add any failover action if needed and click Next.
15. In the Specify a name for this rule box, add a new name if needed or keep the default name.
16. Click Finish.
