Reverting a Campaign

Publications are saved automatically after each launch or publication, giving you the means to browse and retrieve a campaign's old content when necessary.

Viewing previous publications

In the launches tab, navigate to the publications tab to view a list of previous campaign publications.

This list will display:

  • The date and time of each publication,

  • The user who published it, and

  • The number of launches sent using this publication.

Selecting an item from the list shows basic details for those launches.

Reverting a campaign

To revert a campaign:

  1. In the list of previous campaign publications, select a date to display the publication overview page.

  2. Select either the HTML or text part of your campaign to view the content that was used for this launch.

  3. Press the revert campaign button to revert to this version of the campaign.

Caution: a warning will be displayed before committing a campaign to revert, clicking accept will update and replace the current content.

Note: if your current campaign only contains one type of content, either HTML or text, it will not revert to a campaign containing both.

For example, if the current campaign only contains HTML content it will only revert to a previous campaign publication's HTML and not the text content.

Reverting a split test campaign

When reverting split test campaigns, there are a few rules to consider:

  • When reverting split test campaigns, the preview will show content for variant A but will revert both variants.
    • If you have modified either variant after publication, for example removing and re-applying one variant, only variant A will be reverted.
  • You are unable to revert a standard campaign back to a split test campaign or vice versa.
