Conversion Capture Reports
The capture report gives an overview of your website's performance and the response that has been generated by a capture campaign. It lets you:
- View the total revenue generated from your website and pinpoint the highest performing areas.
- Establish the most and least effective conversion campaigns to help identify what makes a successful email.
- Follow the status of your websites purchase cycle to fully understand any visitor activity.

Capture Summary
Adestra reports on four different basket types within the summary:
- Open Baskets: Identify customers who have started a process but have not exceeded your given delay time period.
- Abandoned: The number of visitors who have exceeded the given delay period, divided into two categories:
- Not sent: The number of visitors who cannot be sent an email as no email address can be referenced for them.
- Not responded: The number of contacts who have received an abandon email and have not then converted the abandoned basket.
- Converted: The total number of visitors that completed transactions normally without being sent an email.
- Captured: The amount of conversions made as a response to a capture email.
Each section shows the number of baskets and that number as a percentage of all baskets; this is displayed as 'Total Baskets' and refers to the number of baskets that have been opened since its setup. If applicable, it will also show the revenue for that category and the average basket total.
Note: If there is a successful capture from an abandoned basket campaign, the number of 'Abandoned' and 'Not Responded' visitors will reduce
Campaign Breakdown
In this section reporting is divided into individual campaigns and, if applicable, their separate variants.
This breakdown highlights the most successful campaign by displaying details such as the total number of each email sent and the individual revenue generated.
This will further divide into separate variants if you have included split-testing within your capture.
Date Range
Using the date selector you can specify the date range for reporting, using the drop-down box. This will default to 'All time' displaying statistics for all basket data associated with this capture.
You can either enter the specific dates you require or select one of the various drop-down options such as today, this month or previous year.
Capture Management
A banner, at the top of the overview page, will display the captures status and settings. It will vary from whether a capture is active or not and whether the capture is ready for automatic launches or not.
Disabling a Capture
If a capture is active, it will be locked and no changes can be made. In this case, you can disable the capture using the 'Disable Capture' button in the banner which will stop emails being sent and allow for editing. No previous data will be lost and once you re-enable the capture, via the banner, reporting will continue.
Adding and Enabling a campaign
The banner will highlight when a capture has not yet been assigned a campaign, in which case you can add one or more campaigns under the settings tab. It will also warn you if you have an active capture without an enabled campaign attached, this can also be changed in the settings tab.
Baskets
Clicking the number of visitors allows users to view a list of individual transactions, including contact details, time stamps and basket value.
The above example is a list of abandoned baskets, it is also possible to navigate your way through the other basket types using the relevant tabs at the top.
Basket Contents
By clicking on a transaction you will be able to view the individual basket details, such as product names and images. This page may vary depending on the type of process you are capturing.
