Adestra System Requirements

Adestra is a web-based application that runs in a normal web browser. You don't require any special software to use it, although there are a number of applications that may help.

Supported Browsers

Adestra supports the latest version of the following browsers:

• Chrome
• Safari
• Microsoft Edge
• Mozilla Firefox

Note: Adestra requires JavaScript and cookies to be enabled in your browser.

Optional Software

If you are dealing with mailing lists, you may wish you have some software that can open and edit the CSV files that Adestra supports, such as Microsoft Excel.

It is also recommended to have access to an email client and account so you can test your emails before you send them.

SSL/TLS

SSL is used to protect data passing over a computer network. There are different levels of client compatibility available, and for this reason we base our configuration on the Mozilla Intermediate TLS recommendation. This helps provides comprehensive security, alongside wide ranging client compatibility.

Tablets and Smart Phones

Although it may be possible to log in and use most of the system using a tablet or smart phone, they are not all fully supported. For example some parts may not function correctly, like the HTML Editor. Some tablets or smart phones, such as Apple iOS devices, do not have a file system so will also be unable to upload files.
