Altify Batch Jobs

The following batch jobs are available on the Altify Batch Jobs tab in Salesforce.

  • Recalculate Opportunity FSM Signals. This recalculates the "signals" for the Plan Status icons in TeamView.
  • Link Altify Opportunities to Salesforce Opportunities. This job ensures that each Altify opportunity maps to a Salesforce opportunity.
  • Update Account Plan Progress. This refreshes plan progress information on each account plan's Overview tab.
  • Run Status Update for Account Plans and Push to Chatter. This job is no longer functioning (and is not required by Altify customers).
  • Recalculate Sales Process for Opportunities. This refreshes sales process calculations for each opportunity.
  • Remove usage logs older than one year. This cleans up any usage data that's older than one year.

  • Set up a flat account hierarchy: ensures that the opportunities of child accounts are not automatically included on parent account rows in account plans.

    Note: The Altify Account Manager Setting Flat Account Hierarchy needs to be enabled before you run this batch job.

    Caution: Running this batch job may remove opportunities from existing account plans.

  • Set up an account hierarchy based on custom Salesforce configuration. This batch job is only required by organizations which do not use the standard parent hierarchy in Salesforce to represent their account hierarchy. If your organization represents this hierarchy through a custom lookup field, you will need to do two things:
    1. Specify the API name of the parent lookup field on the account object in the custom setting Account Parent Field (in Altify Account Manager Settings).
    2. Run this batch job which allows Altify to discover opportunities belonging to grouped child accounts and populate them on the parent account row in the opportunity map.
  • Sync Contact Roles >> Rel Map: adds Contact Roles from Opportunity records to relationship maps. Synchronization occurs by default in Altify. To disable this default behavior, activate the following Custom Setting in Altify Opportunity Manager Settings: Disable Contact Roles >> Rel Map Sync.
  • Sync Rel Map >> Contact Roles: adds contacts from relationship maps to Contact Roles on Opportunity records. Synchronization occurs by default in Altify. To disable this default behavior, activate the following Custom Setting in Altify Opportunity Manager Settings: Disable Rel Map >> Contact Roles Sync.
