Solutions in an Account Plan

An opportunity map gives you and your revenue team a focused way to manage and target white space in your account plan. On the map, the rows represent accounts and the columns represent solutions. At each row–column intersection, there can be potential opportunities, current opportunities, and won opportunities.

Any intersection with no opportunities is "white space". By investigating white space, you may be able to identify new areas of potential revenue.

You can add solutions to a new or existing plan.

If the plan type includes default solutions, these are added to the plan automatically.

If the administrator has set up solution families, you can add a whole family of solutions to the plan in a single step. (Solution families are a useful way of making a crowded opportunity map more readable.)
