Adding a relationship map to Quip

Note: You can't add a relationship map to your Quip document on a phone.

To add a relationship map to your Quip document:

  1. Place the cursor at a suitable location in the document.
  2. Begin typing @Upland Relationship Map.
  3. As you type, the live app becomes available as an option you can select.

  4. Select Upland Relationship Map, and click Insert.
  5. If you haven't already logged into your org in an instance of the app:
    1. Click Connect.
    2. Select either Production or Sandbox.
    3. Log into your org.
    4. Click Allow to give the live app access to the required Salesforce data.

    If you have already logged into your org, you don't get these options.

  6. Click Select Map.

  7. Select a map belonging to an account or one of its opportunities, and then click Select Map.

Once you've selected the map, it is shown in your Quip document.

Tip: If the selected account doesn't have any relationship maps, you can click Create Map to open the map creation page in Salesforce, and create the map you need.

(Once the map is created, repeat the map selection process.)

Note: The Create Map button is not supported for Relationship Map only licenses.
