Exporting to Powerpoint

You can export the contents of an Account Manager plan (or just the relationship map and insight map of an individual account) to a Powerpoint (.pptx) file. This provides you with the basic materials to prepare a presentation showing what the Account Manager plan contains.

To generate the Powerpoint file:

  1. Open the Account Manager plan.
  2. Click the Exports button the in top right of the page and select PPT Export.

  3. The Export Plan to Powerpoint dialog opens. Here you can select which elements of the plan you want to include in the Powerpoint file. (The set of options you get depends on the configuration of your org.)

  4. When you have made your selections, click Export.When the Powerpoint export file is ready, click the link Click to save.
  5. In the PowerPoint file itself, a small bit of editing is required to get the best view of exported account relationships (if relationships are included in your export).

    1. Ensure that Enable Editing is activated for the PPT file (this step should not be necessary on a Mac).

    2. Scroll down to the Relationships slide.

    3. Right-click on the list of contacts and select Convert to SmartArt (as shown in the example below).

      On a Mac, click into the bulleted list and in the PowerPoint Elements Gallery, select the SmartArt Graphics tab/button.

    4. Select the Organization Chart or the Hierarchy List diagram.

      On a Mac, click the Hierarchy section and select either the Organization Chart or Hierarchy diagram.

Note: You can generate a PPT export for an account's relationship and insight map from either map (by clicking the export button as explained above). To generate a PPT of only insights, you need to access the insight map in slideshow mode. In this mode, click the PPT icon (as shown below) to generate a PPT file for the section of the map that is currently displayed.
