Described below are the key changes delivered with this release.

Note This release includes an important change in terminology that is applied in the product and in the online help:

  • What was previously known as an 'account plan' is now an 'Account Manager plan'.

  • From 9.9, an 'account plan' is a plan that is applied at the level of a single account (and any divisions it may have) – read on for more information.

Planning at the account level

With account plans, sellers can start building pipelines faster by working at the individual account level to understand people, problems, and potential revenue. As well as relationship maps and insight maps, account details and objectives and actions can now be applied at the level of a single account. On the Potentials page, you can easily identify whitespace, start adding and qualifying potential opportunities, and clearly track your account's progress.

The ability to plan for enterprise and portfolio accounts (including the opportunity map, plan details and plan overview functionality) is unaffected by this release - see Account Manager Planning.

As most Altify data is captured at the account level, your account plans and Account Manager plans will inform each other, so no extra effort is required if your organization chooses to employ both approaches.

Improvements to navigation

  • Access Salesforce Account records from an opportunity map (as highlighted below).

  • Access the account plan for an account or division from an opportunity map (as highlighted below). This option allows account executives to 'zoom in' and concentrate on a particular account or division in the opportunity map.

Attaching files to objectives and actions

Support your objectives and actions with uploaded files - as shown in the example below.

This function is available for objectives and actions in account plans and Account Manager plans.

Toggle a focused view for quick creation of objectives and actions

A new 'Focused View' option (highlighted below) allows you to activate a shortened dialog (with mandatory and key fields only) when you are creating or editing objectives and actions.

Your Altify Administrator can hide this toggle and determine whether the short or long dialog is displayed by default. See the release notes for further information.

Relationship maps

Contact details on information panel

Contact details (phone, mobile and email) are now automatically displayed for all contacts in your relationship maps.

Reordering of sections in contact information panel

Your Altify Administrator can now reorder the sections displayed on a contact's information panel.

In the example shown below, the Quicklinks section is moved to the top of the information panel.
