Dealing With Test & Improves Conducted Outside Altify

Occasionally, it makes sense to hold a Test & Improve meeting without using Altify's Test & Improve software. This is common when all the relevant people are on site in a room together.

Best practice in this situation is to designate a 'scribe' who notes down the vulnerabilities and recommendations.

The scribe should subsequently create a Test & Improve in Altify and populate it with these contributions. (To do this, they will need Read-Write access on the relevant Altify opportunity.)

  1. In Opportunity Manager, open Test & Improve and click Schedule New.
  2. Set the meeting to today’s date. (You can't choose a date in the past.)
  3. Click Launch.
  4. Click Start as Presenter.
  5. Add the vulnerabilities and recommendations to the Test & Improve.
  6. Click End as Presenter, so that this Test & Improve is immediately marked as Completed.

The opportunity owner can now see the Test & Improve in the list, and can Review it.
