Create a user

To create a user:

  1. Click Analytics Settings on the Analytics Menu and then click Users. The Users page displays a list of all available Analytics users.

  2. Click New User. The Create User page displays.

  3. Complete the fields in the Account Information section as follows:

    • Username: Type a unique user name.

    • Email: Type the user's email address.

    • New Password: Type the password for the user or click Suggest Password to automatically generate a password.

    • Confirm Password: Type the password again to confirm the entry. If the Suggest Password option was used, this field is automatically populated.

  4. Complete the fields in the User Information section as follows:

    • First Name: Type the user's first name.

    • Last Name: Type the user's last name.

    • User is Active: Select this checkbox to indicate that the user is active.

  5. Complete the fields in the User Preferences section as follows:

    • Rows per page: Select the user's default number of pages of records to display in lists in Analytics from the drop-down menu.

    • Date Format: Select one of the following for the user's default date format from the dropdown menu:

      • System Default

      • Month / Day / Year

      • Day / Month / Year

      • Year / Month / Day

    • Time Format: Select one of the following for the user's default time format from the dropdown menu:

      • System Default

      • 24 hour

      • 24 hour with seconds

      • 12 hour

      • 12 hour with seconds

    • Week Format: Select one of the following for the user's default week format from the dropdown menu:

      • System Default

      • 2023 W01

      • Jan 01 - Jan 07

      • Jan 01, 2023 - Jan 07, 2023

      • Week of Jan 1

      • Week of Jan 1 2023

  6. Select the user's role(s) in the Roles list.

  7. Click Save.
