Edit a database connection
The Database Connection page displays information for the database(s) that you are connect to.
Caution: Analytics allows for great flexibility in managing database connections but it is only recommended for users with knowledge and understanding of the configuration and its administration.
To edit a database connection:

Click Analytics Settings
on the Analytics Menu and then click Database Connections. The Database Connections page displays a list of all available database connections.

Click the hyperlink of the database connection that you want to edit. The Edit Connection page displays.

Modify the following fields as necessary.

Name: The name of the database connection.

Database Engine: The type of the database engine.

Server Name: The name of the server.

Database Name: The name of the database.

Database User: The database user name.

Click Change Password to change the password for the database.

Optional: Click Test Connection. The color on the button changes to indicate the status of the connection as follows:

Green: The database is connected.

Red: The database is not connected.

Yellow: The database is being created.

Click Save.
