Edit a data source

After you create a data source, you can edit the basic information and add or remove views and relationships.

Note: Each user's profile is uniquely configured and permissioned. Your data view and options may differ slightly depending on the permissions granted.

Caution: You must have a clear understanding of the database schema to be able to manage data sources and views. Database schemas are blueprints of how the data is organized in the database. Analytics allows for great flexibility in managing the data sources and views but it is only recommended for users with knowledge and understanding of the database schemas and its administration.

To edit a data source:

1. Click Analytics Settings on the Analytics Menu and then click Data Sources. The Data Sources page displays a list of all available data sources.

2. Click the hyperlink of the data source that you want to edit. The Edit Data Source page displays.

3. Edit the information in the Basic Information section.

4. Click Next.

5. Edit the views and relationships in the Data Source Building section.

6. Click Save.
