Match with Fields

You can choose to limit your rule matches to specific fields within your documents.

Although you can use the FINE TUNE RULES pane, BA Insight recommends you use the SIMPLE RULE DEVELOPMENT pane because this operation is more easily performed using this pane.

To choose a field using the SIMPLE RULE DEVELOPMENT pane, follow these steps:

1. Select a taxonomy node such as prerequisites.
   
2. Click SIMPLE RULE DEVELOPMENT
   
3. Anywhere: Click and make one of the following selections:

• • In Body: Match this term only when it occurs in a body field.
    
  • In any Field: Match this term only when it occurs in any field.
    
  • In a_____field: Match this term only when it occurs in the field that you type in, or begin typing and select from the drop-down list.
