Configure On-Premise Settings

Procedure:

  1. Expand the SharePoint On-Premise option:
    1. SharePoint On-Premise has two security models:

      • User Password

      • High Trust Certificate

      Important Note

      • When using scheduled annotation, SharePoint High-Trust authorization is recommended

      • Scheduled annotation requires deploying the SharePoint Add-In App.

      • Add-In App can be deployed as the security model without enabling Scheduled Annotation.

  2. If you select the High Trust Certificate model, you can enable the following fields:
    1. Enable Synchronize MMS: Enable this checkbox to turn on MMS synchronization capabilities. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, this field is optional. This does not require an Add-In app to be installed for SharePoint.
    2. Enable Crawling Mode: Enable this checkbox to turn on crawling mode capabilities. This does not require an Add-In app to be installed for SharePoint.
    3. Enable Scheduled Annotation: Enable this checkbox to be able to schedule annotation jobs that are responsible for document tagging. This requires an Add-In App registered in SharePoint.
  3. If you select the User Password model, complete and enable the following fields:
    1. In the User field, enter the username (username/domain format) of an account that has been added to the SharePoint term store.
    2. In the Password field, enter the password for the user account.
    3. Enable Synchronize MMS: Enable this checkbox to turn on MMS synchronization capabilities. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, this field is optional. This does not require an Add-In app to be installed for SharePoint.
    4. Enable Crawling Mode: Enable this checkbox to turn on crawling mode capabilities. This does not require an Add-In app to be installed for SharePoint.
    5. Enable Scheduled Annotation: Enable this checkbox to be able to schedule annotation jobs that are responsible for document tagging. This requires an Add-In App registered in SharePoint.
  4. Continue to the next topic.
