Export and import a connection

Connectivity Hub 4.1 allows admins to export individual connections and import them into your Connectivity Hub environment. You can find the option to export a connection under the Actions column on the Connections page. For more information, see export a connection below.

This can be useful for instances where a connection is to be tested (recommended) before being implemented, you can create a connection to test in a development environment, export the configuration, and import it to a production environment.

Export a connection

  1. Open the Connectivity Hub administration portal.

  2. Navigate to the Connections page.

  3. On the connection that you want to export, in the Actions column, click the settings icon > Export.

  4. An Exported Connection.json file is downloaded to the downloads folder of your browser. This file contains all the configuration specifications of your connection.

Passwords are not stored in the export file. You will need to manually enter any passwords for your connections after you import them.
