About the M-Files Connector

The M-Files connector is an enterprise-grade indexing connector that enables M- Files objects to be crawled and indexed. The index produced by the M-Files connector enables SharePoint, or any other portal, to provide users a single location from which to search and retrieve content from multiple content sources.

Limitations

Note the following limitations with the M-Files connector:

• Property values on search results are visible to any users regardless if they have read permission for a property definition or not.
• Destroyed objects may not be deleted from the search index Contains data from your source system. Your search application instance (Elasticsearch, SharePoint Online, etc.) contains the search indexes. One search index per content source. during incremental crawls Scanning and capturing only new data from all of your content sources. This data did not exist when the last crawl was run.. Full crawls only.
• If automatic permissions changes are not caused by a modification on the object (but by class or property definition is changes for example), then permissions are updated on full crawl only.
