About the OneDrive Connector
Overview
The BA Insight OneDrive Connector makes it possible to index content from OneDrive into Azure, SharePoint Online or the SharePoint 2016/2013 index and surface it through BA Insight’s SmartHub, providing users with integrated search results from multiple sources.

A single consolidated search index Contains data from your source system. Your search application instance (Elasticsearch, SharePoint Online, etc.) contains the search indexes. One search index per content source. referencing OneDrive, along with content from other repositories, is surfaced as a single unified result set, giving users a single access point for searching across the enterprise.

Metadata
The default behavior of the OneDrive Connector is to not include 'hidden' properties in the metadata Provides context with details such as the source, type, owner, and relationships to other data sets. Metadata provides details around the item being crawled by Connectivity Hub. returned for the items.
However, this can be customized by specifying a list of 'hidden' properties (in the web.config configuration file) to be returned by the search engine.
