The following issues can be found when configuring and running content searching in the Exchange Connector.
New Mailboxes Not Showing Up
- Issue: New mailboxes are not showing up in the search results
- Cause: This might have occurred due to the following:
- The filters that are applied on the AD A directory service for Windows domain networks. A hierarchical structure that stores information about objects on the network. Used to manage permissions and control access to critical network resources. look up.
- The AD Account was found, but the Mailbox could not be accessed.
- The DatastoreLoad job did not run after the new mailbox was added in Exchange.
- Solution: Make sure of the following:
- The service account has been granted permissions for new accounts.
- The DatastoreLoad job has run after the new mailbox was added.
- The mailbox has been marked VALID and ACTIVE.
