User Accounts and Application Permissions

Required Permission	Description
S3 Account	An account with full READ permissions on all of the content to be indexed from the Amazon S3 buckets. The account accessing S3 must have both a generated AND active: Access key ID Secret key ID Once a secret key ID is generated, you must copy it and store it. It is only shown to you once. The only option to view your key ID later is to generate a new one.

This repository is managed by applications such as: - SharePoint O365 - SharePoint 2013/16/19 - Documentum - File Share - OpenText - Lotus Notes - etc. Your Source System repository can also be a database such as SQL or Oracle.. If you wish to restrict content to specific audiences, you can use the security scripting functionalities present in your connector framework: Connector Framework or Connectivity Hub.
Required Software	.NET Framework v4.7.2	Amazon S3 connector only uses the AWS REST APIs to communicate with Amazon buckets and retrieve their content. Your network must have the ability to reach Amazon S3 REST service endpoint(s).
