User Accounts and Application Permissions

The iManage/Worksite connector is a SQL-based connector.

Required Permission Description
User Accounts

The connector connects to the iManage SQL database using a READ-only account.

The account can be either:

  • A single SQL user account
    or
  • Both of the following Windows service accounts with READ access:
    • SP_FARM
    • SP_SEARCH
  • Your SP_FARM and SP_SEARCH service accounts retrieve the files (content) from the File Shares where the iManage content is stored.

    • BOTH service accounts must have READ access to the File Shares.
