The following features and enhancements have been added to SmartHub in this release:

System enhancements

Feature Description
Content Editor Web Part enhancements

The SmartHub installation folder now provides the following 3 packages to support different environment types:

  • bai-content-editor-v6.sppkg (PROD)

  • bai-content-editor-v6-dev.sppkg (DEV)

  • bai-content-editor-v6-uat.sppkg (UAT)
Azure Search Engine enhancements When configuring an Azure AI Search Engine, you can now specify the fields that will be highlighted on the search index.
Content Container enhancements The SortProperties setting of the Content Container module now supports label format by default, allowing users to have more descriptive labels for their sort properties.
Web.config enhancements You can now use the AnalyticsFieldsToExclude setting to specify the fields that you want to exclude from your Elastic index. For more information, see Configure the Analytics Component.

Fixed issues

  • If SmartHub was configured with Windows authentication, connecting to the HTTP instance of SmartHub would fail. (BAI-16929)

  • If SmartHub was configured with no authentication, deployed in an iframe, and had third-party cookies blocked, the consent prompt was able to be dismissed after an action. (BAI-16964)

  • If the name of your UI Editor pages root folder contained uppercase characters, you were unable to create new pages of templates through the UI Editor. (BAI-16986)

  • In the SmartHub Administration portal, the dropdown menu to expand a user on the Expertise page was not expanding. (BAI-17348)

  • If pure vector search was not enabled, Search queries containing XRANK expressions would return an error. If pure vector search was enabled, search results were returned but result boosting was not working correctly. (BAI-17358)

  • On the Expertise page, the Expertise button was not changing color after it was clicked. (BAI-17496)

  • On the SmartHub results page, if you navigated from the first page of results to the third page (or later), the results would not load as intended. (BAI-17563)
