Feature Description
Type-ahead enhancements

This release of SmartHub adds the following new settings to the type-ahead suggestions component:

  • WarmUpEnabled: When this setting is enabled, a warm-up call for active providers can be triggered when a page is loaded.

  • WarmUpDelay: This setting specifies the time, in milliseconds, that Type-Ahead waits before triggering the warm-up event (after dependencies are loaded).
Result exporting enhancements When you export your results to Microsoft Excel, all URLs contained in the file will now appear as usable hyperlinks.

Fixed issues

  • In the UI Editor, the Fields To Include section had a misspelled field. (BAI-18054)

  • When a refiner had the preload value set to true, searching for a refiner using a work that does not exist in the results or index would cause the refiner to disappear. (BAI-17850)

  • When results boosting was used on any item in an Azure AI Search search engine, the score of every item was doubled. (BAI-17784)

  • Date refiners on an Expertise search engine did not work correctly if an auto star or end value was used. (BAI-17636)

  • When using a synonym processor stage, synonyms were not applied when using the content-by-search component. (BAI-17616)

  • When using a synonym processor stage, synonyms were only being applied to the first page of results. (BAI-17616)

  • After specifying search fields to highlight in an Azure AI search index and the Azure translator stage, SmartHub was incorrectly highlighting unspecified fields. (BAI-17268)

  • In some scenarios, when featured results are configured with multiple keywords, the featured results may be returned multiple times. (BAI-17187)

  • In some scenarios, when using a SmartHub integrated searchbox in SharePoint Online, returning to the site root page would cause the searchbox to disappear. (BAI-17155)

  • If you clicked the calendar icon in the date refiner rather than the date string, the date picker will open for all date facets. (BAI-17070)

  • When no results were returned by SmartHub, clicking on sort buttons would cause the "Sorry, no results found!" message to be repeated. (BAI-17032)

  • When using a SmartHub integrated searchbox in SharePoint Online, the first query would take longer to load than subsequent queries . (BAI-16982)
