Configure and Start the Adapter Crawler Windows Service

If you choose to install the Adapter Crawler when installing AutoClassifier, a Windows service is installed. You can manually configure the startup options and start the service "Upland BA Insight AutoClassifier Adapter Crawler" in Windows Services. 

Crawling Tips

  • If you see any warnings, errors, or issues in your adapter crawling logs, ensure your crawl service(s) are configured correctly, and running.

The Adapter Crawler starts two threads. 

  1. An enumeration thread which monitors for enumeration requests. 
  2. A continuous crawler thread. A single Adapter Crawler thread is spun for each valid Adapter Source configured
