Installing the SharePoint On-Premise Web Application


NOTE: If the AutoClassifier Engine has not been installed STOP and install and configure the AutoClassifier Engine before proceeding.

Procedure:

  1. On the Microsoft IIS Server machine, locate the file BA Insight MSI installation file (for example, BA Insight AutoClassifier SharePoint Addin6.3.3.0-5bd2e1e.msi) and double-click it to launch the installation wizard.
    The installation wizard appears.
  2. Read and accept the End User License Agreement. Click the Next button to continue.

  3. Select the desired installation directory and click Next.
  4. On the SharePoint Version window, select the Install for Sharepoint On Premise option.
  5. In the Specify the running account window, specify the IIS Host Name, use the App Domain name and Windows domain user account for the Application Pool.
    1. (IIS) Host Name:The name to be used to access the Add-In Website. This name is used to register the Add-In App with SharePoint
      Example:addin.yourdomain.local

    2. User Account:  This account must have permission to the SharePoint Managed Metadata Service.

      1. Example:domain\user

    3. Password: Enter the password for the user account.
  6. In the Additional setup window, enter the AutoClassifier Engine Service Url. For example:  http://autoclassifier.domain.local or https://autoclassifier.domain.local
    If you have already set up a SharePoint On-Premise Add-In, and you are adding another in a load balanced configuration, the second add-in will inherit the configuration information from the first add-in once it is pointed to the AutoClassifier Engine Service URL. In this scenario, the second add-in does not need to be packaged and deployed.
  7. Click Next to see the Ready to install BA Insight AutoClassifier SharePoint Addin dialog.

  8. Click Install.
  9. After the installation process is complete, the Completed the BA Insight AutoClassifier SharePoint AddIn Setup Wizard dialog appears:
  10. Click Finish to close the installation wizard.
