How to Install and Configure Your Connector
Installation
Most BA Insight connectors are installed in the same, repeatable fashion. If your connector requires specialized installation, that information is provided in the connector's help topics. To install your BA Insight connector, use an installation video (optional), and the generic installation instructions in the connector topic.
Most connectors are simply downloaded from the Upland Right Answers Portal to your source machine, unblocked, extracted, and installed using the installation wizard. Configure your connector in Connectivity Hub using the specific settings contained in your connector topic.
BA Insight Connector Installation by Type
BA Insight connectors are either a Web-service connector or Database connector. Refer to the following table for more information:

Web-service connector are contained in an .msi file downloaded from the Upland Right Answers Portal. You install web-service connector to your IIS server using the installation wizard. Once installed, these connectors will appear under Sites in your IIS server. Each connector has a default port number than can be found and changed in IIS. |
| Database connectors |
BA Insight Connectors of this type are SQL templates. For example, Aderant, eDocs, iManage, Interaction, SQL (any relational database system), and West KM. Database connectors are contained in a .zip file and downloaded from the Upland Right Answers Portal. The Database connector template is imported into your connectivity Hub application. Once imported, you can create a connection and content source in Connectivity Hub to facilitate communication to the source system.
